C. Crean founded the practice in 1907 when he commenced as a sole practitioner at Bridge Street, Ballyhaunis. He continued to trade as a sole practitioner until 1937. That year he was joined by Micheal O Cleirigh. This signaled the retirement from practice of Austin J.C. Crean in 1937. On his retirement the name of the practice changed to Crean and O Cleirigh. This happened in 1938.</p> <img class="office" src="images/office3.gif"> <p> In 1939, Patrick M. O Dwyer joined the firm as an assistant solicitor and continued in practice until his death in 1965.</p> <p> Micheal O Cleirigh left the practice in 1950 on his appointment as County Registrar for the City of Dublin.</p> <p> In 1968, John T. O Dwyer qualified as a solicitor and took up the position as principal. The name of the firm was then changed to Crean, O Cleirigh & O Dwyer. </p> <p> In 2002, Evan T. O Dwyer joined the practice as assistant solicitor and in 2006, became a partner with John T.
